How Does AeroBarrier Work?

AeroBarrier uses a unique and highly innovative installation technique to provide great results that can be monitored in real time. A modified blower is used to pressurize the building, and computer-controlled nozzles aerosolize and distribute the AeroBarrier sealant throughout the building.

The basic steps of the installation process include:

• Preparation: Any horizontal finished surfaces or openings that won’t be sealed, like the operable portions of windows and doors, will be taped off to prevent the sealant from reaching them.
• Setup: The nozzles, blower door, hoses, sensors, control unit and other equipment will be set into position and connected.
